Giving Something Back

The guys at Penny Arcade have kicked off their second annual Child's Play charity drive. The charity provides toys, books, and games (video and otherwise) for the kids at various children's hospitals around the country.

I encourage everyone to visit the site and donate an item off the wish lists or just give some cash. It goes to help sick kids who really need it and gets you mucho good karma. Visit the site here.

I'm not writing this for you

Behold, the end days are upon us, It has finally come to pass that I have begun a blog. Surely a sign of the apocalypse if there ever was one. Infamous as I am for hating message boards, forums, and chatrooms; I have finally broken down and started one of these newfangled bloggy things. Mostly so I could have a place to talk about things without the interference of general internet morons.

First, a few rules:

1. I will write about whatever I damn well please, if you don't like it, TOUGH. I'm not writing this for you.

2. I will not be posting with any kind of regularity or indeed any predictability. If this is a problem for you, TOUGH. I'm not writing this for you.

3. I will be regularly recommending various products, websites, and other thingies here. These reflect my opinions, right as they may be. If you disagree, TOUGH. I'm not writing this for you.

So that's the law of the land here. If I'm motivated enough I'll post several times a week to talk about the stuff that's important to me, not what matters to you ungrateful bastards.
